Things are going good. I am adjusting to working days and trying to get my body use to taking my medications in the moring rather than at night. I am sure it isn’t healthy or good to have to skip doses but I didn’t want to take to many pills while trying to switch.
I am also trying to get use to new multi focal contacts. I am not sure if they are going to work or not since everything seems a little blury at times. I may end up just getting regular contacts and then reading glasses on top of them. I guess I am getting old.
The ever efficient military has turned off the water to our building again, leaving us with 2 port-a-poties out front and no water for washing our hands or cleaning. We are being provided bottled water for making coffee and drinking but thats about it.
I would think that they would have waited to turn off the water until they were actually ready to connect whatever pipes or do whatever they need to do, but for the next few weeks, it is port-a-potty city for us, right when we are going to have rain and storms.
It sure will be fun having to run out there during a heavy thunder storm or when it is dark since there are no lights in them. Hopefully they will be finished with the water before it gets really hot outside. Port a potty’s and 100 degree days don’t go well together.
I wonder if I would get workmans comp if a potty blows over in a storm while I am in it.

North Korea celebrated the “Day Of The Sun”, the birthday of their “Great Leader” and eternal president. Kim Il Sung, who would have been 97 Wednesday, ruled North Korea for over four decades, until his death 1994.
North Koreans placed bouquets of flowers at the foot of the giant statue of Kim Il Sung. Senior government officials, Workers’ Party members and military officials also visited the Kumsusan Memorial where Kim’s embalmed body lies in state much the same as China’s Mao and Russia’s Lenin and Vietnam’s Ho Chi Minh.
North Korea has been leading up to the “Day of the Sun” with film and music festivals, athletic competitions, art exhibitions and a flower show featuring the late founder’s “kimilsungia” orchid.
Two Christian bands from the U.S., the Nashville, Tennessee-based classical-fusion Annie Moses Band and Grammy Award-winning Casting Crowns, were among musicians performing Wednesday at an international festival showcasing dancers and musicians.
“We are there to demonstrate respect for the people and continue to establish relationships,” said Mark Hall, lead singer for Casting Crowns.
