We got the back yard cut yesterday. Now I can see the dogs when they are out there. I can’t believe how fast it grew. My next step is to figure out how to get rid of all those nasty yellow flowers without hurting the dogs, since they like to eat the grass.

Billber, our friend from Dawnell’s work, is selling us his tiller, so I will be able to till up the rest of our garden and finish planting our things. It is about time to put the Tomato’s in the ground and whatever else we decide to plant. I guess with the tiller, we can make it a bigger space too. I also have some sunflower seeds I want to plant by the shed. I may also till a patch and fence it off and put in some zoysia plugs and see if I can get them to take off. I have not had any luck with them so far but all the times I have planted them they have been mixed in with the regular grass. Maybe if I put them in their own area they will have a chance. If I can’t get them to take I guess my next step is Buffalo grass whcih may stand up to the dogs.

Either that or maybe cement the back and just paint it green every year. That would be the easiest.

Today for breakfast I had Crystal light and for lunch I had Slim Fast Optima. I took Steaks out for dinner and that is what Dawnell and I will have. I will have to go get some potatoes for baking.

Walmart has Goodyear Tracker 2 tire’s for about 100 dollars each but I can’t find much info on them. I guess Goodyear makes them only for Walmart, the few forums I can find on line about them talk about blow outs at speeds of 70+MPH. The speed limit in Nebraska is 75 which means you get run over if you are not going at least 80. It is hard to tell with what people say in the forums because soem people just talk bad about anything to do with Walmart. I just wish I had looked for myself on the inside door pannel before I ordered the first tires. Thats my stupidity.

A plan to replace Soviet-era Russian military uniforms with ones by a fashion designer has been abandoned because of a lack of money. New uniforms will only go to soldiers taking part in the coming Victory Day parade. Everyone else, will remain in the olive shades from the former Soviet Union.
