Dawnell made it home on Friday so I am no longer trying to be a single parent. My mom did spend the last week here with me helping me with Shane. Actually she did everything for me while she was here. She got Shane to clean his room, and set him up on a schedule for the morning before school. She also cooked us dinner and did laundry for us. She did laundry for two days straight while cleaning Shane’s room and cleaned out his dressers. We now have two boxes and two bags full of stuff for the thrift store, then she saw our closet and she did laundry for another day and a half. Although ours was mostly blankets that I used with the dogs.
I am very greatful to my mom for taking time and coming here to help out our family in our time of need. When Dawnell gets sent away for work it is really hard on Shane and I, especially when it is the week before school starts.
Thanks mom, and Happy Birthday!
Welcome home Dawnell! You really were missed.

I was wondering who was going to pay for the H1N1 (Swine Flu) vaccine? Since we do not have a national health care system or universal health care are those who get it going to have to file to their insurance companies for it? Are insurance companies required to pay for the vaccine? Or are Americans going to expect the Government to pay for it?
I have seen so many people complaining about the health care plan on TV and saying if we want national health care we should move to Europe, but if it turns out that people will need to pay for the shot who do you think is going to scream the loudest? My guess is the loudest screamers will be those same people who are screaming the loudest against the national health care plan.
I am more worried about the politics that are going to come along with a vaccine than I am about the H1N1 flu itself.
Omaha Public School’s reported 2 new cases last Friday.

THE ONLY THING THAT WOULD BE WORSE IS:
Talk-show host Sean Hannity, a vocal opponent of Barack Obama’s policies, said today he would not rule out a bid for the presidency in 2012. The only thing that would be worse is if the LARD ASS, Rush Limbaugh were to run for President.
Hannity said he would consider entering the front lines of the political fray if God directs him. “I’ve never made a decision in my life without – whatever destiny God has you’ve got to fulfill it,” he said. “I’m not sure that’s my destiny.”
Could you imagine a Hannity-Palin ticket? For sure it would be time to buy that ticket to Canada or maybe even Russia.

RAMADAN
A Peaceful Ramadan to my Muslim Friends.
For more than a billion Muslims around the world-including some 8 million in North America-Ramadan is a “month of blessing” marked by prayer, fasting, and charity. This year Ramadan precedes Christmas and Hanukkah. But while in many places these holidays have become widely commercialized, Ramadan retains its focus on self-sacrifice and devotion to Allah.
During Ramadan in the Muslim world, most restaurants are closed during the daylight hours. Families get up early for suhoor, a meal eaten before the sun rises. After the sun sets, the fast is broken with a meal known as iftar. Iftar usually begins with dates and sweet drinks that provide a quick energy boost.
Fasting serves many purposes. While they are hungry and thirsty, Muslims are reminded of the suffering of the poor. Fasting is also an opportunity to practice self-control and to cleanse the body and mind. And in this most sacred month, fasting helps Muslims feel the peace that comes from spiritual devotion as well as kinship with fellow believers.
****Could you fast during the day, every day for about 30 days? Not eating or drinking? Is your faith that strong? I doubt Mr. Hannity has that kind of faith, even though he thinks God may direct him to run for President.****

Hannity-Palin, i don’t want to imagine
It is odd that he says he wouldn’t rule it out but that he doesn’t “believe” it is his destiny, why even mention it ???
ps. Mom’s rock!
