Since most of the world honors their working class on May 1 or May Day, Labor day events in the U.S. really don’t mean a lot. In fact in most of the world, May Day is a holiday and everything is closed, in the U.S. Labor day is a holiday but most places are open in an attempt to make the profit margin for the corporation larger.
Some where along the way, America lost its way on honoring its working class citizens and we now honor our corporate leaders, who probably are off on Labor day.

IN THE SECRET WORLD
Meanwhile, in the DPRK (North Korea) the Ryugyong Hotel has been awakened and construction has restarted. Currently windows have been added to the building. Construction first began in 1987. The hotel was designed to have 3,000 rooms, 7 revolving restaurants, casinos(!), nightclubs(!) and Japanese lounges. Works on the tower is scheduled to be finished by 2012, the year of the 100th anniversary of the birth of President Kim Il Sung.
At one point, it would have been the tallest hotel in the world.
