I will go back to work today after my bout of the Flu. I still feel like crap but with manning so low at work and then most of those people being sick, I really don’t have a lot of choice but to go back.
I guess it is a good thing that no one at home has come down with anything.

I really hate September 11th. I get so sick of they replaying the twin tower attack and being force fed all the same old stories and lies about the attacks, they just keep shoving it down our throat’s over and over.
You hear about people that want to make the day a holiday, which in my opinion would really be stupid. December 7th is not a holiday. (Besides if it was made a holiday, it would turn into just another day for capitalists to exploit.)
When you think aobut what al Qaeda set out to do when they planned and execuited the attack, they actually succeeded. We Americans have lost our civil liberties and some freedoms as a result, we started living in fear, which our government exploited, in an effort to take away more freedoms. We submit to excessive searches of our person and property, we accept monitoring of our “private” communications and the government keeping files on everyone and anyone they want.
We accept racial and religious profiling and teach our children that there are “good religions” and “bad religions” .
al-Qaeda took a nation that once not only preached but practiced protection of human and civil rights and turn it into a nation that sanctions abuse, torture and dehumionizing humiliation, even to a point of employing private firms to commit murder, under protection of the law.
And the people who are involved? Well Osama bin Laden is still free and planning his next terrorist activity, George W. Bush is living in Texas and Richard Cheney is writing his “memoirs” while his ‘war on terror’ continues and young American men and women are being killed in far away distant lands.
What are Americans left with 8 years after? The Bloody Legacy abuse, terror, fear and a long list of failures.
The American’s who started the mess are still free, protected from prosecuition by our current government. The American people, continue to believe the fear mongers and shake with fear whenever a aircraft, boat or chemical truck makes a wrong turn or strayes into protected air space or sea lane.
George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld continue to enjoy thier yearly September 11th erection.
