It rained most of yesterday which made it great for sleeping. I don’t even remember my son coming home from school and I didn’t mind Emma sleeping up in the bed under the blankets, she kept my feet nice and warm. they seem to be cold all the time now, I guess that is from reduced blood flow probably from being diabetic.

I see that Amazing Grace Baptist Church in Canton, N.C will be conducting a Bible and book burn on October 31st. Leaders of the church feel that bibles other than the King James Version, such as, Good News for Modern Man, the Evidence Bible, the New International Version Bible, the Green Bible and the Message Bible, as well as at least seven other versions of the Bible are “Satan’s Bibles”.
Pastor Marc Grizzard has about 15 followers and says that members will also burn books by “heretics” such as the Pope, Mother Teresa, Billy Graham and others. Also scheduled for the bonfire is a selection of music, including Rock, Rap, Jazz, Contempory Christian, Gospel and just about any other type of music you can think of.
Gizzard says his inspiration for the burn comes from Acts 19:18-20.
Burning the bonfire, members can feast on Southern Fried Chicken, BBQ Chicken and all the fixin’s, which will be provided by the church.
ACTS 19:18-20:
Many of those who believed now came and openly confessed their evil deeds. 19A number who had practiced sorcery brought their scrolls together and burned them publicly. When they calculated the value of the scrolls, the total came to fifty thousand drachmas.[a] 20In this way the word of the Lord spread widely and grew in power.
