Last night we watched “The 4th Dimension” for Halloween. I cooked a half turkey breast for dinner, Shane had Sushi.
Kids are not allowed to Trick or Treat where we live because it is so dark, so they all go over to the town across the highway. It makes it very quiet at home, although sometimes it is fun to see the costumes.
This morning at 2am we changed time back an hour so I had to work 9 hours last night. That made for a long night. It was exciting watching one of the guys start falling asleep at about 1145pm. One of these days he is going to break his neck the way his head snaps back and forth. Maybe if we are lucky, his head will fall off one time when it snaps back.
Later today, we are having dinner with Dawnell’s side of the family since her parents are leaving for the winter tomorrow. I am not real happy to be going, I have problems with one of her brothers. For 3 years he has not acknowledged Shane’s birthday, no card or call or anything. It is almost like Shane doesn’t exist to him and his wife. Dawnell lets it go but it really bothers me. Shane always wants to buy their kids something so they will like him. Out of respect for Dawnell, I have not said anything to him though.

NO MORE NAKED PUMPKIN RUNS
Dozens of police officers are being deployed to the US city of Boulder, Colorado, to try to prevent a annual Halloween tradition.
Every Halloween, dozens of people run down the city’s streets wearing only shoes and a hollowed-out pumpkin on their heads. But, this year, the police are ready to arrest anyone who takes part in the Naked Pumpkin Run and charge them with indecent exposure.
Last year around 150 people turned out for the run.
Similar runs have also taken place in other US cities including Seattle, Portland and Arcata.

US NAVY SHOOTS UP POLISH TOWN
A crew member aboard the USS Ramage accidentally fired a machine gun into the Polish port city of Gdynia on Wednesday while cleaning the weapon.
Three rounds were fired from an M240 machine gun into the town but no injuries or damage were reported.
Polish military police boarded the ship to investigate and Navy officials said the crew of the Ramage fully cooperated. No U.S. sailors were taken into custody by Polish authorities.

MARILYN MONROE WANTS YOU
If you ever wanted to be interned ontop of Marilyn Monroe, now’s your chance. The 4.6 million dollar deal made last August for the crypt above Monroe fell through and another attempt to sell it on ebay didn’t receive any bids.
The current occupient of the crypt will be moved to another location upon sale.
Hugh Hefner bought the crypt next to Monroe for 75 thousand dollars in 1992.

MORE CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY BY YOU KNOW WHO
Amnesty International says that Israel is denying Palestinians access to even the basic minimum of clean, safe water.
In a 112 page report, Amnesty says that on average Palestinian daily water consumption reaches 70 litres a day, compared with 300 litres for the Israelis.
The report also says that some Palestinians barely get 20 litres a day, which is the minimum recommended even in humanitarian emergencies.
Israel has “entirely appropriated the Palestinians’ share of the Jordan river” and uses 80% of a key shared aquifer. West Bank Palestinians are not allowed to drill wells without Israeli permits, which are “often impossible” to obtain. Rainwater harvesting cisterns are “often destroyed by the Israeli army”.
Israeli soldier’s say Palestinian household rooftop water tanks are “good for target practice”.
Israeli settlers in the West Bank enjoy lush gardens and swimming pools.
Israel denies the charges and says they give more water to the Palestinians than the Oslo Accords require.

IMPOSING THEIR BELIEFS ON YOU
Someone in Maury County, Tennessee has been going around and scratching out curse words from books in a library. So far between 50 to 100 books have been “edited” and the libary doesn’t have the money to replace the books.
Signs have been put up asking people not to cross out curse words in the library’s books.

About Shane … why don\’t you have a heart-to-heart (man-to-man) talk with this one brother of Dawnell? It\’s ROTTEN that he simply ignores Shane … Shane deserves better! I know about \"in-law-families\" only too well …
Israel will get in return what they did/do to the Palestinian people … every action triggers a RE-action, its like a boomerang – it\’ll come back to it\’s origin and smack right in their faces!! It\’ll happen if they (or anyone else) like it or not and nobody will be able to do anything to avoid it. That\’ll be JUSTICE … I can\’t wait!
