I took extra food and meds in with me to work last night because they were forecasting an ice storm. I am not sure if anyone will not be able to make it or not yet but I thought it would be smart to be ready just incase I had to stay at work for extra hours.
I hurt my hip again yesterday. I did a lot of walking and stuff throughout the day and it just really started to hurt. It got to the point that I was ready to go to the E.R. but I had to work so it wasn’t really an option. I have a doctor appointment next week and maybe I will be able to get some physical therapy or something since the pain pills are not doing anything.

ONWARD, CHRISTIAN SOLDIERS
Trijicon was founded by a devout Christian, and says it runs to “Biblical standards”.
Coded references to biblical passages are inscribed on gunsights widely used by the US and British military in Iraq and Afghanistan, it has emerged.
The markings include “2COR4:6″ “For God, who said, ‘Let light shine out of darkness,’ made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.” and “JN8:12″ “When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, ‘I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
On 14 January, the MRFF received an e-mail, purportedly from a US Army infantryman, complaining about the markings.
“Many soldiers know of them and are very confused as to why they are there and what it is supposed to mean.”
The email adds: “Everyone is worried that if they were captured in combat that the enemy would use the Bible quotes against them in captivity or some other form of propaganda.”
A Trijicon spokesman said “Our effort is simple and straightforward: to help our servicemen and women win the war on terror and come home safe to their families.”
“As part of our faith and our belief in service to our country, Trijicon has put scripture references on our products for more than two decades.”
“As long as we have men and women in danger, we will continue to do everything we can to provide them with both state-of-the-art technology and the never-ending support and prayers of a grateful nation,”
The US Marine Corps says they are “concerned with how this may be perceived” and were meeting with the company to “discuss future sight procurements”. The US Army said it was looking into any potential policy violation.

NEVER MORE
From 1949 to 2009 the unknown Poe Toaster has shown up with 3 roses and a half bottle of cognac. 2010 ended that tradition for reasons unknown.

IF YOU REALLY LOVE HER, LET HER KNOW
You could blow a week’s pay on fresh lobster, a bottle of bubbly and a quiet table with a waiter named Jean-Pierre to impress your sweetheart on Valentine’s Day.
Or . . . you could surprise her with your, ah, thrift and willingness to stand out from the crowd by taking her out for the Valentine’s special at your neighborhood White Castle, where, just for this occasion, they’re offering a candlelit dinner, with tableside service and flowers.
