Yesterday there was a car parked next to mine that had a bumper sticker on the back that read “Impeach Obama”. I had to laugh because I tried to think what grounds he could be impeached under. I lucked out when the driver of the car, who turned out to be a much older man, showed up, so I asked him why Obama should be impeached and his answers where amazing and actually a riot.
His first response was that Obama wasn’t an American but an Arab from (of all places) Tanzania. His next was that he failed to give the proper oath of office on January 21st, and then it went on that he failed to uphold his oath of office to protect and defend the constitution by turning our country into a socialist state. When he mentioned socialist state I asked him if he accepted a social security check every month and he responded that he did but that social security wasn’t a socialsit program, it was actually a program that was set up by President Hoover and was stolen and changed by Roosevelt and the democrats.
I didn’t mention all the impeachable events that Bush commited during his presidency out of fear that the man would have a heart attack right there in the commissary parking lot. It is very clear that the man listens to Rush Limbaugh way too much and watches Fox News non stop, probably 24 hours a day.
He would have fit right in with 3 or 4 people I work with, and it was kind of like talking to my sister or father in law.
From what I could find, Tanzania is not considered an Arab country. I believe that this misguided man actually wanted to say that he believed that Obama was a Muslim, but at that only about 35% of the population of Tanzania is Muslim. I wonder what he would have said if I told him that there were Christian and Jewish Arabs.
Hard to believe that people can actually be that stupid.
