It was hot today, on my way into work it was 99 with 90 percent humidity. We now have storms moving into the area, maybe with 2inch hail.
I watered everything really good last night so it was ready for the heat today but my son’s pumpkins were really wilted this afternoon, hopefully they will make it and come back after they get watered again. He has some really big pumpkins out there. I also have some big watermellons out in the patch.
No ripe tomato’s yet, we had one but it had bottom rot from sitting on the ground. I have a bunch of egg plant but they are not turning purple, they are all white. I am not sure if I bought white eggplants or what and have no clue when they are ready to be picked. I don’t know if they are white and turn purple when they are ripe. I guess I should look that up.
