Dawnell is gone this week and it is just Shane and I at home. Wouldn’t you know it, the first day she left we had drama at the house. Emma and Stella got into a fight. Stella again got her butt kicked and I had to take her to the vet for surgery. She had two good sized puncture wounds in her. One went about 3 inches into her and the other was not as bad. She has two drain tubes on her left side and about 15 staples in between them. On her right side she has about 20 staples holding the skin together. She was in a lot of pain.
She is much better now and although she is nervous she is trying to be nice around Emma.
The problem is, when the dogs get excited at the door, they both run down there and if Stella, who is smaller, gets cornered, she snaps and growls at Emma, and then they get into a fight.
I don’t know what we are going to do with Emma. Maybe a muzzle on her or if it comes to it, we may have to put her down. Not something I want to do but I can’t keep spending 500 bucks at the vet everytime they get into a fight.

The U.S. Constitution guarantees you and me, living, breathing human beings, citizens of the United States, the right to free speech.
In one of the greatest affronts to our democracy ever, five justices of the U.S. Supreme Court decided in January, in Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission, that corporations have free speech rights just like you and me, and, that includes the right to spend whatever corporations like to support or oppose candidates for elected office.
Corporations already spend money on politics and our elections, and after the USSP decision things will get worse.
Just think what it will be like when ExxonMobil, Walmart, BP, ConocoPhillips, GE and other corporations start pouring their millions and billions of dollars in profits into political advertising, without regard or what the candidate thinks, protected by their “free speech”. Endless political advertisements on television, radio, internet and spam email. All legal and protected by the U.S. Constitution.
When will the Supreme Court offically change the Constitution to read “We The Corporations” instead of We the People?
When will We The People stand up and demand an admendment to change this abortion of our Constitution by the Supreme Court?
The time to act is now!

Wish I could leave one outside, but they can’t deal with the heat in the summer or cold in the winter. I just need to watch them more and teach my son not to do stupid things.
I think if the GOP had their way, the Constitution would be long gone.

tolerance and respect are supposed to work both ways.
seems to me that insisting on building a mosque in the
shadow of the destroyed world trade center is a pretty procacative action. This from the religion that is supposed to be peaceful (?) HMMMMMMMM …. wounder what their true motives are.
would an American Christian be able to build a cathedral in tbe shadow of a significant holy site in their country? i doubt that would be allowed. Would a Jew from the US or anywhere else ve allowed to build a temple any where in their world. Could i as a legal visitor who is a practicing Roman Catholic bring my rosary and scripture freely to their coutry. I think not
and I am sure they would have a few not so nice surprises for me the infidel and oh dear a woman also to boot – wonder where I would end up. Isnt it funny that everyone expects us good old Americans to put aside our values and what most would concider acceptable mores for our community to accomadate a few that have an agenda to destroy our way of life – but they certainly would not allow us the same in their country. Therefore to those of the liberal mindset who think all we have to do is sit down and talk and accept everyone and accomodate all their defferences I will only say there is a tyrrany in tolerance. concider it very carefully = please do because I really do not want to have to say see I told you so – for then it will be too late. because once it starts you will not be able to post anything that is not censored or approved

Karen, I always thought my sister would be smarter than to become a Palinbot.
It wasn’t a religion that brought down the World Trade Center towers, or flew an aircraft into the Pentagon, it was terrorist, who belonged to an organization that has extreme beliefs and doesn’t accept the beliefs of others. Terrorists who were attacking a country that has imposed its morals and demands on parts of the world that it would have nothing to do with if it wasn’t for oil.
We support a country, Israel, that doesn’t allow the native people of the land the right to return to their homes, travel freely in their own country or live without the fear of having their house bulldozed down so another settlement can be built on the land. We support a country that occupies another country, breaks international law by building settlements on that occupied land and builds walls around that land and divides the occupied people’s from each other, much like the East Germans did. We, the United States, support a terrorist nation with our support of Israel.
Could a Christian build a cathedral in Israel? I think not. Why? Because the state religion is Jewish.
The U.S. has no state religion, no where in the U.S. Constitution does it say that the U.S. is a Christian nation.
Have you read the entire Holy Bible? It is full of violence, especially the old testament. Read the Holy Quran, you will find much more violence in the Bible than the Quran. I know, I have read both, cover to cover.
A little advise from your little brother, Turn off Fox News, stop listening to Sarah Palin, open your eyes to what is ACTUALLY going on in the world and open your heart and practice some of that peace that Christians claim to hold so dear to their hearts.
