Nader is now on the ballot in 30 states and still holding about 6 percent in the national polls. One set back for Nader has been Obama’s Flip Flop on the debates. Obama now says he will only participate in the 3 scheduled debates against McCain. Neither Nader, Barr or any other candidate has been invited to these debates, which are either sponsored by big business or the big news networks, all of which are afraid of having a strong 3rd party candidate who isn’t in their pocket.
Nader has offered to debate anyone anyplace, anytime but the Democratic and Republican candidates are afraid.

The past two days were really hot, over 100 both days at our house. I kept the A/C set at 78 and it seemed like it ran all the time. I hope it doesn’t crap out on me.
The neighbors took us out on the lake the other night on their boat. It was a nice ride with it so hot out, the breeze on the lake was great. I could have slept out there. At one point, Dawnell even said that we needed to get a boat. Maybe duriing a winter or off season sale there will be used boats.
Next week we had planned to go to Chicago for vacation, but with J still not home, there really is no reason to go on the trip. I hope someone calls us soon so we can finish this all up before school starts.

BULLDOGS REALLY CAN SWIM (KIND OF)
Bulldogs are not knowed for their swimming abilities. With that big head, 38 double F chest and a front end that is about double in weight of the back end, they have a tendency to sink, head first when they take a dip.
Many people who own Bulldogs put a life vest on their dog if there is a chance he may decide to take a swim. Nepoleon, a white English Bulldog didn’t need any help when he decided to leave his owner and jump into a near by lake only to return pulling a sack full of abandoned kittens.
Nepoleon pulled out 6 kittens, 4 of which survived and were nursed back to health so they could be adopted.

ISRAEL WINS AGAINST THE FULBRIGHT SCHOLARS
After receiving their visa’s on the 30th of July the State Department has now revolked them. Four Palestinians who were awarded the Fulbright scholarship had first been denied access to Jerusalem by Israel, Sec of State Rice intervened and the four were then issued visas. Now the government says “new evidence” has been learned and the scholars will have to reapply again next year for the scholarship.
Israel does not allow persons from Gaza to travel to Jerusalem and the US has no diplomatic offices in Gaza.
Chances of winning the scholarship two years in a row = ZERO.

Remember that Fox News report last week that said there was a KFC opened up in Fallujah? Well it seems that the KFC that was reported isn’t really a KFC and the report on Fox was fake.
Who else but Fox News would report a fake story was so easy to verify?

No PFP here in Nebraska. Nebraska is one of the super red states. Not a lot of political choice here. I believe this is the first election where the Green Party has made it on the ballot in all 3 districts.
